2nd Chakra –(Sacral Chakra) - Element: Fire
The primary drive of the Sacral Chakra is the search for pleasure. Sensual and sexual activities become a primary concern. Situated just above the genitals, it regulates sexual energy, which is far more than mere physical sexuality or eroticism.
It is the seat of creativity through which we experience childlike wonder and excitement of the manifest universe. It is from the 2nd Chakra that a person experiences the world as a magickal place.
Just two quick examples of a balanced Second Chakra are a greater sense of intimacy and companionship in relationships with others, and the ability to create and maintain healthy boundaries with ourselves and others. The energy and advantages of a well balanced and functioning sacral chakra are realized in our daily life.
