6th Chakra – (Brow or Third-eye Chakra) - Element: Water and Air
The Brow/Third-Eye Chakra is associated with the syllable Ohm which represents the beginning and end of all things. It is from this center that we harmonize the forces within ourselves and achieve a balance between Yin and Yang. The sixth chakra controls intuition, clairvoyance, divination, etc. It is the seat of creativity, and when active and open, the seat of Divine Intelligence. It controls intuitive and rational thought, memory, and all higher mental activities. A fully opened and activated sixth chakra allows for such things as clairvoyance, telepathic communication, and healing through mental projection. Through the power of their own mind, those with activated sixth chakras can create new realities for themselves on the physical plane and go beyond the earthly goals and attachments which divert most people from fulfilling their Dharma.
